Halita Mouthwash

Vi-one Halita Mouthwash is effective product against Bad Breath or Halitosis and Periodontal Disease. This mouthwash with chemical ingredients such as Chlorhexidine (CHX), Zinc and Cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) can reduce oral malodor by decreasing either the number of microorganisms or by chemically neutralizing odor compounds including Volatile Sulfur Compounds (VSCs) that are produced by Anaerobic Bacteria.

How does Vi-one Halita Mouthwash work?

The mechanism of action is mostly a direct inhibition of H2S and to a lesser extent the anti-bacterial effect that is well known to both CHX and CPC. There is two-step mechanism where CHX initially splits SH bindings, rendering S available for positive Zn2+ ions to bind, resulting in the formation of insoluble non-odorous Zn-sulfides that are passed through the gastrointestinal tract and eventually excreted.

Vi-one Halita Mouthwash is useful for diabetic patients

Due to the increase in incidence and severity of periodontal disease in diabetic patients, oral diseases are referred to as the sixth side effect of diabetes. A study has proven that periodontal diseases accelerate the disorder in blood sugar control and treatment of those oral diseases will result in a better blood sugar control in diabetic patient.
Vi-one Halita Mouthwash is alcohol-free and without sweeteners, therefore it is suitable for diabetic patients.

Composition

Sodium fluoride ……………………… 0.05%
Cetylpyridinium chloride …………… 0.05%

Directions

Use twice daily in the morning and night, 15 ml of the undiluted product for 1 minute. It is advised not to consume any food and drink until at least half an hour after rinse.
